Caracterization:
Multidisciplinary project, bringing together researchers from mathematics, physics, economics and sociology, which seeks to investigate the relationship between government policies and the structure and functions of R & D policies, in particular the emerging networks in the European Union Framework Programs. This project aims to identify and characterize networks to predict the evolution of these networks, to assess the role of networks on the creation, transfer and distribution of knowledge.
Objectives:
- Identify the structural properties of networks of R & D
- Modeling R & D complex networks;
- Relate the structure with the functions of complex networks of R & D
- Develop new quantitative criteria for evaluating networks.
